Citizen Supremacy Act

Citizen Supremacy Act

We, the citizens of the United States of America, reaffirm our ultimate authority over all levels of government. As a cornerstone of the social contract, we agree to abide by laws that are justly and democratically enacted. However, no government, whether federal, state, or local, shall assert supremacy over the will and democratic demands of the people. To ensure this principle, we establish the following provisions: Recognition of Citizen Authority: All branches of government shall recognize that their authority derives solely from the consent of the governed and remains subject to ongoing review and accountability by the people. Mechanisms for Accountability: The people reserve the right to call for national referendums or votes of no confidence in any government body or official, provided such actions are supported by a verified petition from one tenth the total number of voters Non-Supremacy Clause: No law, policy, or act of government shall infringe upon the principle of citizen supremacy. Any such act shall be subject to judicial review and, if found unconstitutional, invalidated. Successful ballot measures shall not be overturned by court or legislature for one year. Amendment and Enforcement: This Act shall be incorporated into federal laws as necessary, with enforcement overseen by an independent citizen-led commission.
