What problem does it solve? Employee Financial Stress What is your solution and who does it apply to? In my department, I would like to see the State offer employees elective overtime. By offering employees who are interested in working Saturday or Sunday, this will improve our response time related to customer service, and also help the employee financially who would otherwise may have to work part-time somewhere else. What is the anticipated impact? A positive impact for State and employees
What will the provisions be to assure that overtime won't be used as a way to work around short staffing issues?
